Natalie
Weinstein, leading Long Island interior designer, lecturer,
author, and host of the "Home Show" on Island Talk
540 WLIE, heard Thursdays at 7:00 in the evening, is the
president of Natalie Weinstein Design Associates. Based in
St. James in the old St. James Vaudeville Theater, this firm
has serviced countless residences in the tri-state area and
Florida since its inception in 1973, as well as offices,
catering facilities, car dealerships and other corporate
commissions.
Natalie is the former Director of the Willsey Institute for
Art and Interior Design and Master Teacher. She writes
"Long Island Focus" featured in House Magazine,
the Home Decorating column in Our Town, a local publication,
and her work is often seen in the Long Section of the New
York Times as well as Distinction magazine, House magazine
and Newsday.
Natalie is founder and president of the Arts and Antiques
Association of St. James, executive board member of the St.
James Chamber of Commerce, and active supporter of Long
Islands heritage sites and landmarks, working closely with
the Suffolk County Department of Parks.
Natalie's years as a teacher and her innate ability as a
communicator, has made her an acclaimed public speaker as
well as designer. Her style is enthusiastic and uplifting.
She makes decorating fun as well as an educational
experience and her vast knowledge and quality sources
provide her clients, as well as her listeners, with a unique
life experience.
